The Bombers Outscore the Red Dragons

On Tuesday, December 3rd, the Cortland Women’s Basketball team unfortunately fell to Ithaca College 62-72.  The Ithaca Bombers are ranked 21 nationally and outscored Cortland by a 20-8 margin with five minutes remaining in the non-league game.  This game was a nail-biter as Cortland and Ithaca were tied up twice during the first period and tied up five times during the second.  Cortland and Ithaca both made 21 field goals.  Ithaca hit six different 3-pointers, while Cortland had five.

On Friday at 6 p.m., Cortland will be hosting their first SUNYAC play against Potsdam followed by Plattsburgh on Saturday at 2 p.m.
